Each year, the Human Relations Committee presents the coveted Dante Award to a member of the local news media who has answered Dante Alighieri's call to be "no timid friend to truth." Fittingly, the 2021 Dante Awards will take place on the 700th Anniversary of Dante Alighieri's death. Please join us in celebrating our 2021 Dante Award Recipient Jennifer Lyons, recently named president and general manager of CBS 2, former Vice President of News WGN America, on Tuesday September 14th at Galleria Marchetti.
Additionally, in 2021, the JCCIA marks the celebration of the remarkable life of one of our most valued leaders with the first annual Dominic DiFrisco Award. Join us in celebrating the inaugural Dominic DiFrisco Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Antonio Romanucci, Founding Partner, Romanucci & Blandin LLC for his tremendous life's work and mission toward the betterment of his community.
